Video: Slain workers remembered on Intentional Workers' Day

GVF -- Following an initiative by The Centre to Defend Families of the Slain and Detained in Iran, people lay flowers at the grave of workers who lost their lives following the rigged presidential election of June 2009.
Last week, the centre had called on Iranians to pay their tribute to the post-election victims on the occation of International Workers’ Day (1 May).
According to the website of the Centre to Defend Families of the Slain and Detained in Iran, groups of people remembered their fallen comrades today by laying flowers at their graves.
The names of a small number of workers killed after the election are as follows:
1. Mahmoud Raeisi Najafi
2. Bahman Janabi Khosh, 19 years old, a pumber and worker at electrical installations
3. Ahmad Nejati, 22 years old, a worker killed as a result of baton blows
4. Sajjad Ghaed Rahmati, a worker from the small city of Dorood in Lorestan province
5. Farzad Jashni, 19 years old, a worker from Ilam who was seeking employment in Tehran
6. Hossein Akhtarzand, worker from Isfahan
7. Abolfazl Abdollahi, electrician, killed as a result of gunshot to the head
8. Saeid Abbasi, 28 years old, killed by gunshot
9. Meysam Ebadi, 17 years old, a worker at a carpet store killed by a gunshot to the stomach
10. Abbas Disnad, 48-year-old worker in the Bazaar, killed as a result of baton blows to the head
