Emad Bahavar arrested for fourth time

GVF -- The head of the youth branch of the Freedom Movement of Iran (FMI) Emad Bahavar has been arrested for a fourth time within the past year.

Bahavar had recently been released after a short arrest just days ago.

His arrest took place when Emad had gone to a court in order to protest the illegal behaviour of security forces against him in recent days.

On Wednesday after he had appeared in court to defend his case, security forces raided his house and inspected the house without providing any warrant while threatening and insulting the family. The security forces confiscated some of the personal possessions of Bahavar’s neighbours and left the premises.

Bahavar was arrested for a fourth time when he referred to the court in order to protests such illegal acts on Saturday.

Amirhossein Kazemian and Farid Taheri are other members of the FMI currently in prison.
