Saeid Laylaz prison sentence reduced to three years after appeal

GVF -- According to reports received by GVF, the initial sentence of reformist economist Saeid Laylaz has been reduced to three years in prison after appeal. It was previously nine years, which means that the court has reduced his sentence by six years!

 Laylaz was arrested shortly after the rigged 12 June presidential election. He had been a critic of Ahmadinejad’s disastrous economic policies in his first term in office.
