Journalist and human rights activist Abdolreza Tajik arrested again

GVF -- Journalist and human rights activist Abdolreza Tajik has been arrested for a third time within the past year.

According to the Kaleme website, Tajik is the second member of the Defenders of Human Rights Centre to be arrested in recent days. Narges Mohammadi, the vice-president and spokeswoman of the Defenders of Human Rights Centre, was also arrested at her home on 10 June.

Tajik was arrested and released on bail twice following last year’s rigged presidential election in June.
