Female journalist Azam Vismeh arrested
GVF -- Journalist, Azam Vismeh was arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces at her home last night.
The reasons for her arrest are not clear. It has been reported that Vismeh’s mother is in a state of severe shock following the nightly raid on their house and the arrest of her daughter.
Azam Vismeh is considered to be one of the most able parliamentary journalists and has worked for reformist publications such as Shargh and Iran Dokht as well as the Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA).
She had been summoned and interrogated by the Intelligence Ministry once after the rigged presidential of last year.
