Senior reformist Mohsen Armin released on bail

GVF -- A senior member of the Mujahidin of the Islamic Revolution Organisation, Mohsen Armin, has been released from prison on a bail of more than $200,000.

According to the Jaras opposition website, Armin’s wife said that he was released from Evin prison on Saturday afternoon after seventy days of imprisonment. Armin was allowed to have visitors only once during his time in prison.

The spokesperson for the reformist organisation was arrested on 16 May 2010. Tehran’s Chief Prosecutor had said that his arrest was due to crimes against national security statements issued by his organisation in the past year.
