Authorities target Tehran's curbs to eradicate green

GVF -- Iranian authorities’ onslaught on anything that even remotely reminds Iranians of the 12 June election fraud continues.

Currently, workers from Tehran’s municipality are colouring the green sections of the curbs in an important motorway black. The intensive effort is meant to turn the green and white colour of the curb into black and white in several teams. The workers were seen working tirelessly on the intersection between Chamran and Hemmat highways.

Last week and for the third time during Ahmadinejad’s press conference, the green stripe in the Iranian flag was made to look so thin that it was barely visible next to the blue background in the decor behind Ahmadinejad. The move outraged many Iranians that saw this as assault on national symbols.
