According to the Kaleme website has reported that women’s right s activist and lawyer Maryam Ghanbari was arrested on 8 February by security forces while at her house. She was then taken to Evin prison and is currently in ward 209 of the notorious jail.
Maryam’s mother said that she called the family from Evin prison today and was apparently in good a good condition. “She said that the interrogators behaviour was humane.” Maryam has reportedly told her father that she is not aware of the charges against her, despite having been interrogated numerous times.
