Prominent figures meet with released Mousavi advisor
Various prominent figures have met with Mir-Hossein Mousavi’s top advisor Alireza Beheshti following his release from prison.
According to the Kaleme website, Beheshti who is the son of one of the founder of the Islamic revolution was released on 9 February after enduring forty days of imprisonment.
Respected figures have met with Beheshti following his release, including, Mahdi Karroubi, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, Zahra Rahnavard and the family of Hashemi Rafsanjani.
He was released on bail after being arrested on 28 December for the second time following the June 2009 presidential elections which the Green Movement considers as a massive fraud.
Beheshti is also a professor at Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, where he was arrested.
