GVF -- A newspaper and two other publications have be banned by the Committee for the Supervision of the Press.
The Aftab website has reported that during a meeting held by the Committee for the Supervision of the Press on 16 August, the committee’s chairman decided to ban the publication of the Asia daily and to revoke the license of two other publications by the names of Sepidar and Parastoo.
According to Aftab, the reasons provided for the banning of Sepidar and Parastoo were: the publication of images against “public chastity” and indifference towards their mission as press in addition to their insistence on carrying out these “violations.”
The Asia daily was also banned for publishing images violating “public chastity” and advocating waste through images.
